The Tie Safe trailer Tie and Cross Tie will save you money in broken halters and stable equipment. Also, if you must release you horse quickly you can just grab one side of the Velcro and pull. The tie safe will release without having to un-snap. Yet you still have a short lead attached. When using this feature do not slid the wire loop over the Velcro. Doing so will defeat the purpose of the break away Velcro. 

Panic Snaps or Quick Release snaps are near impossible to release when they are under the pressure of a horse pulling back. The Tie safe has solved this problem.

Adjust to the break strength desired before attaching to the halter. The metal slid may render the break away feature useless, Therefore, if you wish the tie safe to break a a desired or pre-set strength do not place the slid over the Velcro attachments.
